Social stereotyping has forced people to hide their true self and character. Abstinence is a process and method used to change oneself but when one fails to improve or become different, acceptance of an imperfect self that is unique might be the only option. In my collection, uneven foil-print, puff-print and raw edge were executed beautifully to illustrate the imperfect self. The contrasting of blue and white depicts the abstinence in people’s minds, while the gold, used as an accent, brings the meaning of breakthrough and change.

The concept imagined two possibilities of a future world when most of the glaciers were melted. These two hostile positions simultaneously existed in the society and created a symbiotic relationship which is “Conservation or Development”. Using Glacial melting as an inspiration to explain two future possibilities of “Conservation or Development” by fashion collection.
